Inspired Tuesdays-Fashionably yours.

For some people, effortless style comes so naturally, everything they post, or write about gives us a little jolt of pleasure in our nightly online jaunts. Visually powerful these lovely people enchant us with their blogging wiles. Seemingly plain words string together into a teasing and very charming little world. Casually put together illustrations just drive us crazy by how blase they seem. Images aren’t just pictures but narratives that weave their magic.

Style bloggers. They arent just people, but celebrities in our midst who keep the dream alive for us.

A few of my favourites.

Garance Dore.

The envious status of being the other half to Scott Schuman of The Sartorialist, this is one blogger who has her own very distinct voice and style. french with a new york twist, she writes, draws, photographs, blogs makes videos and everything else in the middle.

Leandra Medine or more popularly known as The Man Repeller

The BoF writes about her, ‘First of all, she is very funny. And perhaps what differentiates The Man Repeller most is the way Medine marries impeccable high fashion aesthetics with a comedic approach that can literally make you laugh out loud.’ Featuring self-portraits of Medine wearing the kind of edgy and eccentric pieces that risk repelling the average man, as well as plenty of images of similarly challenging and “unsexy” items, including “sweet lime green drop crotch utility pants” and “jewelry that resembles violent weaponry,”

Her Manstagrams are juicy and full of fashion inspiration.

She also gives lessons in layering and other crucial fashion tips.

Inspired tuesdays. Guest Post: Mahin Hussain

For Accessories designer Mahin, colour is the veritable holy grail. Every season, she finds herself immersed in different colour palettes, varying moodboards, a multitude of hues, tints and shades. Each has a significant meaning, a reaction, an effect and she chooses her collection’s colour palette based on the result she wants to achieve.

Recently back from a european holiday, she finds herself still daydreaming of verdant countrysides racing away, serene shades of green which inspire relaxation, calm and a sense of absolute well being. For today’s guest post she found unable to tear her mind away from the colour of choice- Green.

To see her bold, bright dramatic collections, do visit her site.
